Actually Kirkuk is kurdish majority now, but Saddam deported many of them back then. And yes, Mosul is lost, but we will still get back all our other lands.

Really? Because I went to SK recenetly, and from what I saw Kurds were actually the majority. Not unless there was some massive demographic change in the course of 3 months or so.

Just because a city is under arab control does'nt make it arab if they are minority. But in this case we do control Kirkuk, Peshmerga and Asayish is taking care of the security, the majority of the council is kurdish, and the city mostly takes orders from Krg. We just need to make it official now.

you obviously have no idea what you are talking about. So Kirkuk and Mosul is controlled by Peshmerga, there is no sign of Iraqi troops in this area and conclusion is that this areas are under Iraqi control.

He himself is confirming that this cities, areas are under Peshmerga/Asayish control and as we all know Iraqi army was stopped before entering Mosul. How are Iraqis controlling this area? The whole infrastructure of Kirkuk and the majority of Mosul is based on KRG.

The General Secretary of Ministry of Peshmerga called on the International Red Cross in Kurdistan in a meeting in Erbil to intervene in solving the security situation in the disputed areas and the Turkish ongoing bombardments on Iraq’s borders.
General Secretary Jabar Yawar in a meeting in Erbil urged the head of the International Red Cross in Kurdistan to be a part of solving some issues including the disputed territories’ security situation and the foreign bombardments on Iraq’s borders.

Shek Jafar, the Peshmerga minister threatened the Iraqi Dijla command and says "if they move a muscle we will respond harshly".

Shek Jafar today with two Peshmerga battalions and under tight security measures visited Kirkuk and met with the governor Najmadin Kareem, then after the meeting and in a press conference he announced that "my arrival to Kirkuk with the two Peshmerga battalions is a clear message to Baghdad to let them aware that Peshmerga is presence in Kirkuk".



Peshmerga minister also threatened the Iraqi army 12th brigade in Hawija that if they moved an inch towards Kirkuk they will respond harshly.

We cant show any sign weakness and make clear to Nouri Al-Maliki Al-tikriti that if he intends to send invaders to kirkuk we wont standby.
