This flag has been suggested to represent West Kurdistan

But why would they change the flag. What is the reason? It is the same as Kurdistan flag. The only thing that is left among the kurdish history is Ey Reqib and Kurdistan flag. Any modification will destroy our history.

As I thought now seeing these flags I am sure the whole flag issue was not because PYD "refuses" to accept the Kurdish flag but it was most probably politically. SInce West and South Kurdistan are not one part they need two different flags to represent them for now

However I like the first flag it looks really cool. not as cool as The Kurdistan flag though.

Guys, my comment was read on zagros tv :ymhug:

Around 94 people voted on the poll and most of them were syrian kurds. 93 people said NO to change, 1 said yes to change. So far

for now on SK and WK can form a confederation with each other using similar looking flags.

if you ask me i think this is silly i think we should from now show the world we are one nation divided into 4 countries using the only flag of Kurdistan.

i think our parties should use what ever flag they want but once the occupied part is freed right away switch to kurdistan flag.

look at the flags of Australia and new Zealand.

the first flag looks pretty nice. but i would prefer the old one. ive grown up with it and i would not change it for all other flags in the world.
but as kurdistano said,it is for political reasons and the flags are different now. but when we unite,i hope for the old national flag to be the official one

i disagree with kurdistano, PYD/PKK refuse the kurdistan flags for different reasons not bcoz of we are not united. im not buying it.
