So the PYD leader says that they are not willing for autonomy! So the kurdish demands are just the basic rights! So why does the PYD controls the region and not allowing the FSA to enter. If you are not willing for autonomy then why bother controlling that area. The PYD statements are frightful.

PYD wants democratic autonomy, the same thing BDP declared last year! while KNC wants a federal syria just like iraq.

Have you a source where they say that? Because what I'm know is that they want autonomy.

Read the interview with the PYD leader today(pg 39). Read this paragraph:

Do you use the term to denote the Western Kurdistan to Kurdish areas in Syria, what is your definition of this term?

The term West Kurdistan is a geographical term which is not intended to any political connotations, it does not mean certain limits, does not mean separation or split, as we say the West Bank or East Bank, or East and West as well as such. And our definition of Western Kurdistan is the part that remained within the political boundaries of the State of Syria at the division of the region in the early twentieth century. It does not mean anything other than the reminder that there is a part of Kurdistan under Syrian sovereignty, territory and not future of Kurdish autonomy, and you can be considered as a cultural meaning.

So the KNC doesn't want autonomy? Honestly, I do not know what to say.

so you mean that the KNC want something like Germany or the US? So where the provinces can rule themselves?
Which one gives more self-ruling, a defacto kurdish region or a democratic autonomy?

i dont see much different really, just different ways of saying it, no side is willing to knee to the other, its the same PDK PUK dilemma happening in WK.

PUK: Yaketi jnani Kurdistan
PDK: Yaketi afratani Kurdistan
PUK: Yaketi Xwendkarani kurdistan
PDK: Yaketi Qutabyani kurdistan

same things different wordings.
