I've already heard Kurds speaking French with a strong Belgium or Canadian or Swiss accent (or even a Southern French accent) and it is also funny. Why ? because we expect automatically that non-native speakers have taught our academical language (Parisian French, for example), instead of local speeches.

But French or English languages belong also to India or African countries (I love to hear the African french, very rich and inventive).

What I like the most in that Indian English is their way to say 'v' instead of 'we' : Vee are happy… It reminds me the Persian way to put 'v' everywhere as a Kurd say 'w'.

According to my ears, French accent in English is terrible, but some sounds are so hard for us, especially that 'th'… #-o

Rack of lamb

Position an oven rack in the middle of the oven and preheat to 475º.
Season the lamb with salt and pepper. Combine the garlic, parsley, thyme and bread crumbs in a shallow bowl.
Moisten the mixture with enough olive pil to hold it together, then set it aside.
Heat a large dry skillet over high heat. Put the rack of lam, convex side down in the skillet. With tings, hold the meaty side against the skillet for 1 mn to give it a nice brown crust. Turn the rack to sear it on all sides for a total of 4 mn.
Remove the meal from the skillet and place it in a roasting pan, meat side up. Mix the flour and vinegar together in a smal bowl, paint this mixture onto the lamb, then gently apply the herbed bread crumbs, patting them to form a crust covering the meat.
Roast the lamb until medium rare, 20 to 25 mn (145º).

I will serve it with buttered carrots, onions and mushrooms.

The wisdom of crabs :

"Wind and rain are on the way if a crab digs straight down and blocks the hole with sand, leaving marks like sunrays. We can expect strong winds but no rain if a crab leaves behind a pile of sand but does not cover the hole.

"If the crab blocks the hole but does not scrape the mound flat there will be rain but not wind. When the crab leaves the sand piled up and the hole unblocked the weather will be fine. Never trust a white who says, 'According to the radio rain is on the way.' Trust crabs first and above all others."

Mister Pip, Lloyd Jone.
