Twana Kamal , director of roads and traffic authority of Sulaimani province announced that they have plans to build autobahns across Kurdistan.

He added "these autobahns or highways will benefit travelers greatly and will reduce the hours between the places".

Twana also revealed the places that are eligible for these autobahns for Sulaimani are , Sulaimani - Erbil , Sulaimani - Garmyan , Sulaimani - Kirkuk , Garmyan - Parwez Khan border point, Parwez Khan - Sulaimani , Bashmax - Sulaimani and some other places.

According to a new legislation passed by the parliament, Kurdistan roads will become double lane or more by 2030, and experts suggest that these extra lanes are aimed at reducing the car accidents and easy traveling for travelers.

I really hope that they will ask a German or Dutch company to build those autobahns, and not some turkish mongol company.

agree, roads in turkey are realy bad, and the asfalt are even melting in summer. they cant even make their own ways, hope not that they are turks making with big money.
