Alan with enough Money (what we should have to some point) they would all , Russia, China, Bulgaria etc sell us weapons but the question is does KRG want to buy them? I hope and think so. I bet they already have new weapons. The only things missing are Jets.

well as far as i would know KRG is secretly having Kurdish pilots trained on various jets in Israel, and two part of the iraqi f16 deal.

producing weapons increase their GDP,something chinas government is willing to do in all possible ways.
they bulid cities with huge expensive buldings,which almost noone in china can afford to live in,only to increase GDP (only 25% or so of those buldings/house/rooms are acctually bought,some cities are even uninhabited).

Lieutenant General Jabbar Yawar: five points of agreement between the Peshmerga and the Iraqi army in the process of implementation

Kirkuk - Peshmerga and security forces announced the arrest of an al-Qaida leader.

In a statement to the media, Kirkuk security forces affiliated with the Kurdish Kurdistan Democratic Party said, “After thorough surveillance, we arrested a leading terrorist of al-Qaida in Kirkuk.” According to the statement, the ‘leader’ had joined al-Qaida in 2006 in Beji, launching many ‘terrorist activities’ later in Nineveh.

The arrestee was also accused of activities in Kirkuk, the most notable of which was a ‘terrorist attack’ on Baghdad Road in Kirkuk on July 23, the third day of Ramadhan, where some civilians were killed.

Security notes refer to an abduction case incident where the arrestee ‘was involved’. The abduction of a Turkmen-ethnic civilian identified as Abbas Hasan Shkurm, a resident of Khurmatu town on June 16 and later releasing him for 75 thousand USD as ransom was said to be made with the help of the arrestee.

The arrestee has been sent to the Kirkuk court according to the statement.

ERBIL, August 29 (AKnews) – Police chief for Kirkuk districts Sarhad Qader was injured in a roadside bomb blast on Kirkuk-Riaz road in Kirkuk, said an anonymous source in the area of the incident.

Three policemen were killed and four were injured in the blast, including brigadier Qader.

Qader’s injuries, caused by stone shrapnel, are not severe. 

The source added that Qader was moving the casualties just after the incident and his body was covered in blood from the other injured victims.

Announces Ministry of Peshmerga calm the situation in Zommar area



witebej - Announced the General Directorate of national media and awareness, in the Ministry of Peshmerga for the Kurdistan Region in a statement, that the implementation of the decisions of the meeting for the Joint Committee Supreme for "Peshmerga and the Iraqi army," which was held in Baghdad about Zommar area, and Mahmudiya villages, and Cairo.

According to the statement, that we make clear to the public opinion in the territory of Kurdistan and federal Iraq, that after a series of private meetings on the situation on the Syrian border and the Zommar area down to the Mahmudiya villages and Cairo, has been the implementation of the decisions of the meeting of the Joint Supreme Committee in general, and now the situation is stable in the region and there is no any tensions between the parties, where also everyone is committed to this agreement and to ensure the stability of the situation in the region.

It is worth noting, has sent the Iraqi army last month ,the force from the city of Nasiriya in southern Iraq, under the pretext of maintaining the common border with Syria, and without prior knowledge of the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Ministry of Peshmerga thereby bypassing the previous agreements among themselves, where they send forces to the Zommar area
Which led to a large dissatisfaction, where carried the Peshmerga forces to intercept for these forces which led to the creation of a crisis in the region.
