A man was detained in Bursa province in Turkey’s Marmara region for allegedly raping a duck, daily Habertürk reported.

Police forces detained the man following complaints from his inlaws, who claimed he had raped one of their ducks during an overnight stay in their house.

The man’s father-in-law said he found "feathers and blood" in a bed with the duck.

The duck was "unable to walk," according to the father-in-law. The man’s mother-in-law told daily Habertürk she later discovered the man’s bloody shirt by a tree the next morning.

The 50 year-old suspect denied all accusations, calling them all "slander."

The duck was found to have suffered deformation and damage to its intestines and underwent several operations. It is now reportedly in good condition and remains in a vetrenarian’s care.

I am not sure about Turkish customs BUT if a man rapes a female does he have to marry her ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

As it is a female even though it is a duck I think that he should do the honourable thing and marry her

Do you really that a duck underwent several operations ? ? ?

If such a thing, disgusting as it is, really happened then nobody would have payed a fortune for it to have several operations. The evidence would have been cooked and EATEN

I fail to see how anyone can connect a joke with something as serious as children being raped

I'm from Jahra which is to the west of Kuwait city. It's like the redneck part of Kuwait lol. There are a few intellectual families but most people in Jahra are like rednecks lol. Jahrawis (locals) aren't soft like the city people, they're very tough. But they're also humble and live very simple lives. Jahra proudly defended Kuwait city from the wahabi Saudis and Ottoman Turks.
